Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.Key knowledge and experienceThe ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:Current knowledge and the ability to apply Industrial Instruments relating to payroll and establishment services while solving rostering, establishment and payroll issues.Experience in a healthcare setting rostering and relief management within an operational environment is highly desirable.Current knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Queensland Health systems, policies, procedures and legislative frameworks with regards to rostering and payroll requirements.Time management skills to work in a busy and changing work environment, with the ability to multi task and to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.About the roleThe purpose of the role is to provide quality advice on rostering data-quality needs and initiatives, while contributing to the design and delivery of process improvements activities that support best-practice rostering across the ieMR Program, Digital Metro North.Provide advice to the Assistant Director of Nursing - Workforce, ieMR Program Leadership and other stakeholders on rostering data quality initiatives and requirements, including data standards, reporting requirements and audit outcomes in accordance with awards, enterprise agreements, Hospital and Health Service rostering policies and procedures, local work instructions and best practice initiatives.Assist with the design and build of assigned rosters, applying employee agreements and terms of employment, limiting roster gaps, covering shift requirements and verifying employee movement requests in line with the service requirements, staffing numbers and skill mix to support service delivery to clients.Develop and coordinate data quality management initiatives to streamline and automate roster audit and reporting, integrating with established digital platforms to reduce inefficiencies and provide accurate and timely data to inform key decision-making.Undertake regular engagement with local payroll transactional services to support client engagement, data integrity and accuracy of payroll rostering information provided.The role is based at Campbell Place, directly opposite the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description and Program Overview.Benefits when working for usRewarding career and development opportunities across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical areas.Value driven organisation which provides a work environment that is safe, satisfying, flexible, and promotes a healthy work-life balance.Benefit from a higher than standard employer contribution to Superannuation of up to 12.75% and access to salary packaging.Be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology and innovation, excellence in healthcare, quality teaching and cutting-edge research.
