Role Overview
This position involves the acquisition of monographs and curriculum resources, as well as provision of support for acquisition processes that contribute to the development of special and cultural collections.
The role requires undertaking processes and tasks that facilitate timely and efficient acquisition of resources across a range of formats for our collections.
Duties
* Sourcing library resources from vendors, ordering, payment, receipt of print and electronic books, completing physical processing requirements for items in general and Special Collections.
* Consulting with sources to gather information and seeking expertise advice where necessary.
* Maintaining documentation records progress work tasks identifying key issues.
* Building productive relationships diverse stakeholders actively maintaining positive relationships.
