Law Works Compensation Lawyers is a boutique personal injury law firm based in Bankstown. We act for injured clients across NSW in workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, public liability and TPD claims.
We are seeking a motivated and organised Legal and Office Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The role is for 3 days per week, or shorter hours spread across 4–5 days offering flexibility for the right candidate. You will provide direct support to our Principals while also managing day-to-day office administration.
This position may also suit a university student studying law who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a legal environment while completing their degree.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and legal support to the firm's Principals
* Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
* Open new client files and manage document preparation
* Liaise with clients, insurers and medical providers on a daily basis
* Manage correspondence, emails and filing (electronic and hard copy)
* Assist with general office duties including diary management, billing and file organisation
About You
* Previous experience as a legal or office assistant (preferred but not essential)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Professional phone manner and client service focus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in using practice management systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
