Are you a passionate midwife?

Rockingham General Hospital are currently seeking a pool of Registered Midwives for permanent - full time/part time, fixed term - full time/part time and casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Our dedicated Midwives work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive evidence-based midwifery/nursing care to patients.

Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

Your Application Should Include

A copy of your current CVThe names and contact details of two (2) current referees who can attest to your suitability for this role.A cover letter no longer than 1-2 pages demonstrating the following:Your clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence-based midwifery/nursing care within the practice setting and;An example of your interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with an ability to liaise effectively with patients, individuals and a multidisciplinary team.

Are you eligible? To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2026.
