Job Description
Downer's Maintenance & ITS business is proud to be expanding its footprint across South Australia, delivering vital road and asset maintenance and construction services across the Barossa, Riverland andSouth EastRegions, covering approximately 5,600 km of sealed road network.It'san exciting time to be part of a teamthat'sdelivering these critical works across the state.
We are currently looking to fill multiple Road Maintenance positions to successfully deliver Road Maintenance, Hazard / Emergency Response commitments across the region. These roles will suit individuals who enjoy working outdoors and travelling in regional SA to undertake a variety of different activities to a high standard and with a high regard for safety.
* Grader Operator
* Road Worker
About you
* A strong motivation to help our community through quality maintenance practices
* Construction Induction / White Card (essential)
* Current Traffic Control tickets (highly regarded)
* Proven ability in the operation of mobile plant,machineryand equipment, particularly within the road maintenance and pavement industry
* Availability to work night shift, emergency call outs, and weekends whenrequired
* Proficient with technology, including the use of tablets and smartphones
* Experience leading teams to achieve productivitytargets (Leading Hand position)
