We are a student support centre, providing tailored Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander courses and study support. Eligibility/Other requirements: MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS/LICENCING Refer to the ACT Public Sector Canberra Institute of Technology (Educators) Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026, sub-Clause M10.8. All employees at Educator Level 1.7, 1.8, Educator Level 2 and Manager Education Level 1 must hold a full Training and Assessment Certificate IV level qualification (such as a TAE40116 or equivalent) and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (or equivalent). Mandatory qualifications to Work in CIT Yurauna Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au) Current Driver’s Licence Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of permanency. This is an Identified position in accordance with Section 27(4) of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 and is only open to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander lived experience and cultural capability is considered essential and therefore confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage may be requested.
