As a District Medical Officer, you will provide comprehensive medical and community health services to local communities, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have experience in emergency medicine, procedural skills, and the ability to work effectively in a rural setting. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, including Remote Area Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Allied Health staff, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Aboriginal Liaison Officers.

About the Roles:
* District Medical Officer – Non-Procedural (DMO – NP):
o Provide clinical leadership, supervision, training, and education to junior medical staff.
o Develop and maintain the skills necessary to provide safe, effective, appropriate, and quality clinical service.
* District Medical Officer – Procedural – Obstetrics (DMO Obs):
o Provide obstetric services, including antenatal care, delivery, and postnatal care.
o Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care for patients.
* District Medical Officer – Procedural – Anaesthetics (DMO Anaes):
o Deliver anaesthetic services, including preoperative assessment, induction, maintenance, and recovery.
o Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
