Logistics Coordinator Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, pick packing, and stock deliveries.
* Conduct regular stocktake across chilled/frozen products to ensure accuracy and fulfill store orders.
* Roster a team of up to 20 staff across 6 days of operation, and manage time and attendance.
* Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations within the warehouse.
* Conduct equipment and machinery inspections regularly, including forklifts and servicing of trucks.
* Mentor, guide, and train new and existing staff members to optimize warehouse performance.
* Continuously seek new ways to improve efficiency and productivity, including optimizing space and reducing wastage.
