Our Melbourne team is looking for a Senior Business Banking Manager to manage and continue to grow a portfolio of professional services clients.
This opportunity will see you focusing on the management of an existing SME client base whilst growing strong referral sources, industry links, and new business partnerships. The professional services team has an array of clients and customer segments, some of which include Legal Services, Insolvency, Accountants, Financial Planners, Insurance Brokers & Real Estate Agencies.
In this role, you will Assess economic value and risk potential of new business. Educate clients about their business options and provide sound advice about risk & efficiency to drive opportunities for growth. Proactively leverage networks of industry contacts to help identify new opportunities. Implement initiatives to support client acquisition in your local market. Discuss clients' proposed strategies & annual business plans. Prepare and submit client banking proposals. Demonstrate your expertise by hosting & presenting at industry & client events. What you'll bring Strong prior demonstrated experience within business banking and/or credit assessment, with strong transactional banking capability. Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment, and control experience. A passion for making a positive impact in the Professional Services industry. A passion for helping clients understand the risk and profitability of their business to safely and effectively achieve their desired outcomes, whilst balancing the right outcomes and risk.
