About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity focused on improving how recruitment is delivered across the University, while working as part of our collaborative People and Culture team.

Lead ECU's end-to-end recruitment strategy, delivering contemporary frameworks, standards, metrics and exceptional candidate experiences.

Deliver major recruitment uplift initiatives focused on recruitment technology, tools and process improvement to enhance candidate experience, compliance and efficiency.

Design and execute targeted recruitment and attraction activity, including customised strategies and national and/or international campaigns for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and advisory support to leaders and People & Culture colleagues to build recruitment capability across the University.

Manage external recruitment partners, including performance review, commercial engagement and issue resolution.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience in a senior recruitment, talent acquisition or workforce services role within a complex organisation.

Proven ability to provide specialist, end-to-end recruitment advice and lead contemporary recruitment practices with a strong focus on candidate experience.

Experience designing and delivering recruitment improvement initiatives, including recruitment technology, tools, standards, metrics and process uplift.

Strong stakeholder partnering capability, with experience supporting and advising senior leaders on recruitment planning, selection and hiring.

Ability to analyse data, monitor trends and apply insights to inform recruitment strategy and decision-making.
