About the role
The Associate Professor, Curriculum Design provides university wide academic and operational leadership for course and curriculum design, review and renewal that support the University's strategic agenda. The role combines senior academic leadership with responsibility for working in close partnership with faculties, central units, and senior leaders to deliver contemporary, future focused curricula aligned to UTS strategy, regulatory requirements, and student and industry needs.
This role is critical to ensuring that UTS curricula remain distinctive, future-focused, and responsive to changing student, industry, and societal needs, while maintaining academic standards and regulatory compliance.
About you
As Associate Professor, Curriculum Design, you will bring demonstrated senior academic leadership in curriculum design, review, and renewal, along with experience leading and managing academic and professional teams. You will have a proven ability to work collaboratively with faculties and senior stakeholders, building strong partnerships across the University and with external partners, including industry, to deliver contemporary, high-quality curriculum outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A doctoral qualification in education or a relevant discipline
* Demonstrated senior academic leadership in curriculum design, review and renewal within higher education
* Proven experience leading large-scale, institution-wide or multi-faculty curriculum initiatives
* Experience leading and managing academic and professional teams, including driving change and capability uplift
* Strong ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and build partnerships across faculties and with external partners

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $183,507 to $201,165 pa (Level D) - Associate Professor
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
This position is?full-time?and appointment will be made on?a continuing basis.
