Geraldton Grammar School (GGS) seeks a dynamic and passionate Mathematics teacher to join our outstanding faculty. Responsibilities
* Plan relevant and engaging learning experiences with a high level of curriculum knowledge.
* Use appropriate assessment tools and record student progress through the School's online management system (SEQTA).
* Develop inclusive learning environments, foster positive relationships, and communicate with staff, students and parents in a timely and respectful manner.
* Attend relevant duties and events including camps, staff meetings, curriculum evenings and parent/teacher interviews.
* Fulfill the full-time, permanent position requirements, with relocation assistance offered to the right candidate.
Qualifications and Eligibility
* Outstanding experience in teaching 7–12 Mathematics; ability to teach ATAR Methods and Specialist Mathematics is desirable.
* Strong understanding of current curriculum; experience differentiating for varying abilities.
* Excellent class management and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* Proficiency in using technology in the classroom and facilitating its use in learning.
* Commitment to pastoral care and addressing the social and emotional wellbeing of students.
* Ongoing commitment to professional learning and collaborative teaching practices.
* Hold and maintain a Working with Children Check and TRBWA registration.
* Preferably reside in Australia with valid working rights; TRBWA registration and a valid Working With Children Check are advantageous.
