Family owned and in its 38th year, Trentham Estate Winery is a showcase establishment of the region, renowned for award-winning wines and exceptional food and service at its Cellar Door and Restaurant on the banks of the Murray River, just 15 minutes from Mildura.
Trentham is seeking a qualified chef or experienced cook to join its small team in presenting regional modern cuisine at the winery's restaurant. This exciting role is in a well-equipped kitchen with a dining environment second to none, with a focus on food together with award-winning wines, in a supportive team setting. To foster a positive work/life balance, the position offers fantastic conditions for a hospitality role including mainly day shifts with only the occasional evening required, and no split shifts or early morning starts.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and present regional modern cuisine in line with the winery's standards
* Work collaboratively with a small team in a well-equipped kitchen
* Contribute to a positive dining experience for guests
Qualifications
* a minimum of two years' experience
* a passion for food with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
* reliability and the willingness to work as part of a team
* availability to work Wednesday through to Sunday
* own vehicle and driver's license
