This is a casual role facilitating Ramsay Clinic Thirroul’s Day Programs and Inpatient Programs. The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and engagement of patients across age groups.
You will also participate in the ongoing development of these programs and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients under these programs.
This role is a fixed-term (17 March 2025 – 2 March 2026) part-time (28 hours per fortnight).
Skills and Experience
You should be able to plan and organise trauma and skills groups, with a commitment to delivering excellent healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment.
You will need to demonstrate:
* An accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, with APHRA registration and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent.
* APHRA registration as a Social Worker or Mental Health Nurse.
* Training and experience in facilitating group therapy using modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and/or Schema Therapy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to be self-motivated and work autonomously, as well as effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Creativity and flexibility in facilitating and delivering skill group content.
* Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Suite.

Requirements
* Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the past 12 months.
