About the role:

We are seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join the team in Wodonga on a Casual basis.Candidates need to be committed to delivering high quality care for our aged care clients both in home and in the community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

* Providing services in the client’s house such as assistance with showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and assistance with general household tasks.
* Assisting and encouraging independence with clients by taking them out into the community to complete tasks such as shopping or to attend appointments.
* Liaising with the care team regarding any concerns or feedback the client may have with Baptcare’s service to ensure we are meeting the needs of every client.
* Maintaining strict privacy and dignity with all information relating to client care and promotes same with any other members of the team or contractors on site.

About you:

* Completed a minimum of Certificate III in aged care or individual support.
* Based in Wodonga or nearby suburbs.
* Available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8am - 2pm.
* Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
* Current Australian Drivers license and own a registered vehicle with insurance.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
