Our client is seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Group Accountant who enjoys working across a variety of responsibilities, collaborating with project teams, and improving financial processes across their business.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting across the group, leading a small team, and delivering meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
* Group consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
* Three-way forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
* Managing WIP accounting and project/job costing
* Process improvements and systems support
* Overseeing AP/AR functions, payroll support, and fixed asset registers
* Coordinating external audits and maintaining strong internal controls
About You:
* Experience as a Group Accountant or Senior Accountant in a multi-entity environment
* Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability
* Experience with MYOB, Workbench or similar systems
* Solid understanding of WIP/job costing and cash flow management
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* CA/CPA qualification is desirable but not essential
