About the Business
Business Improvement and Technology is responsible for enabling the department and its operations to deliver services through the provision and governance of information management, systems, data, and technology. Their goal is to provide our employees with the tools they need to do their jobs effectively while making it simpler for the community to access the information they need.
Role Details
The Cloud Governance and Architecture Lead is a role within the Finance, Digital and Customer Support Directorate, accountable to the Manager of Technology Governance and Standards, for:
1. Developing and maintaining cloud and platform governance frameworks, driving architectural consistency, and optimizing the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud environments.
2. Providing strategic oversight and expert guidance on integrating cloud platforms and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
3. Optimizing cloud operations by driving automation, good practices, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check issued within the last six months. Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role requires an employment-related screening check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as advised by DHS, including periodic assessments during your employment.
