About the Role
Our growing General Education program delivery team is seeking a dedicated teacher to inspire and support students through hands-on learning experiences to build confidence, strengthen skills and opens doors to further study or employment. This is a meaningful role where you’ll guide learners to develop job ready skills in literacy, numeracy, mathematics and digital literacy assisting students on their path to a future career.
Key areas of responsibility include, but not limited to:
- Prepare, deliver and assess vocational education and training programs, applying a variety of teaching methods, (including flexible delivery, on the job training and assessment), reflecting best practice teaching methodology.
- Research, adapt and develop innovative learning practices and delivery options to enhance the Program area’s capacity to meet the needs of students. 
- Provide learning programs which are inclusive for students from diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities; implement appropriate support and/or modified learning programs and strategies as required. 
- Contribute and participate as a member of the teaching area on a range of operational duties including course advice, student selection, enrolments, promotional activities, graduation and administrative duties.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or equivalent
- An approved tertiary qualification in a Primary or Secondary Teaching, enabling you to deliver either: 
- Literacy (introductory to Certificate III level, including digital literacy), or
- Numeracy/mathematics (introductory to Certificate III level).
- Current industry knowledge, skills and experience relevant to teaching in the VET sector
- A student-centred approach, strong communication skills and the ability to adapt learning strategies to diverse needs.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for guiding students to success

Salary Range:
Casual Teacher L1 | $86.15 (teaching) and $58.56 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $89.54 (teaching) and $60.86 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $93.08 (teaching) and $63.23 (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
