This role presents a genuine opportunity to shape the people function, strengthen compliance, and build scalable processes to support ongoing expansion. About the Role This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for taking full ownership of the HR function. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will transition the business from a reactive HR model to a proactive, structured and commercially aligned people function. Operating in a complex environment with multiple modern awards, a shift-based workforce and varying employment conditions, you will play a key role in reducing risk, improving consistency and building internal capability. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end HR function, embedding structure, consistency and accountability Oversee all industrial relations and employment compliance across multiple awards Standardise processes across performance management, ER and terminations Act as the escalation point for complex HR and workplace matters Manage workplace investigations and Fair Work-related matters Build capability within line managers to manage people issues effectively Review and enhance HR systems, policies and documentation Manage external HR/IR providers while building internal capability Partner with leadership on workforce planning, structure and hiring strategy About You Experience in a senior HR leadership role (Head of HR or HR Manager level) Background within blue-collar or operational environments (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, construction) Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and modern awards Proven experience managing complex ER matters, investigations and disputes Comfortable operating in a hands-on, non-corporate environment Confident influencing senior stakeholders and providing clear direction Execution-focused with the ability to drive outcomes, not just advise Culture & Benefits Down-to-earth, non-corporate environment with a practical leadership team Opportunity to build and shape the HR function from the ground up High level of autonomy and visibility across the business Clear mandate to drive change and make a tangible impact How to Apply To apply, please submit your CV via the link below.
