As a Maintenance Technician at Perfection Fresh Australia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities in Homebush Markets. You will be an integral part of the Commercial Operations department, contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of our infrastructure and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
* Performing routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
* Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Conducting inspections to identify and address potential areas of concern.
* Responding promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational efficiency and safety standards.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reports.
Main Tasks:
* Carrying out preventive maintenance tasks on a regular basis.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
* Coordinating with external contractors for specialised maintenance needs.
* Assisting in the installation of new equipment or machinery as required.

* Must have proven experience as a maintenance technician in a FMCG role
* Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions
* Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Must be able to MIG and TIG weld to a high standard
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a commercial environment
