Our client, ATCO Structures, is an industry leading, innovative provider of workforce housing, modular facilities, and construction site support services, working with diverse companies and governments around the world to deliver these services. ATCO also provides modular fleet hire and sales as one of Australia's largest rental fleets of modular buildings.
An exciting, new opportunity has become available for an Internal Sales and Project Coordinator to assist in coordinating projects and developing business opportunities within the Modular Building Team. This role is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate in construction, building, or business, who has ambition, charisma, and drive, and wants to be part of a global company focussed on developing its people.
**The opportunity**:
The role reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for actively developing new business opportunities whilst also servicing existing clients and proactively managing those relationships. Additionally the role includes coordinating projects and overseeing fleet maintenance, ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholders to meet project deadlines. Day-to-day duties include:
- Acquiring new sales and rental contracts from both new and current clients
- Monitoring for potential business opportunities
- Negotiation and validating contracts
- Comprehension of and contribution to basic financial reports
- Fleet administration tracking of core assets
- Raising purchase orders and liaising with contractors for minor site works
**The skills and experience we are seeking**:
- The ability to meet deadlines and meet expectations
- An ability to achieve sales targets and to work proactively
- Customer-facing experience, with high level client engagement skills
- The ability to manage and develop working relationships
- A relevant degree is desirable, but not essential
**Skills and experience we are seeking**:
- A minimum of 2 years sales experience in a similar industry (construction, strata management, cleaning, or maintenance)
- A task driven person with proven experience meeting sales targets
- The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Experience managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders
