**About the role**
In this fully autonomous role, you'll be responsible for gardening & maintenance duties, supporting our clients within our Home Care Service, Across Warwick, Toowoomba and Surrounding regions. You will be providing lawn and garden maintenance, tree and shrub pruning, hedging, and garden refuse removal.
The position will also require you to work in hot conditions, which may include, days involving long drives, supporting home care clients at their homes. Spread across Warwick, Toowoomba and Surrounding regions.
You will maintain an inventory of equipment and ensure it's in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Along with relevant record keeping and administration, you will ensure all practises are completed in a timely manner, including all planned and programmed gardening and maintenance.
**About you**
You are a self-starting and driven individual who loves working collaboratively as part of a team, however, you are also capable of working on your own. You have an advanced level of interpersonal skills which allows you to liaise and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Be prepared to drive across Warwick, Toowoomba and surrounding regions, with provided motor vehicle.
With your highly developed customer focus and excellent service skills you resolve gardening and maintenance issues as they arise. You have proven knowledge and physical capacity to use and maintain equipment as required by the role. Ever ready to provide support, you have a welcoming, caring and compassionate nature.
To be suited to this position ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a gardener/handyman/maintenance role;
- Previous experience in residential aged care, retirement living or community services environment is highly regarded;
- Applied knowledge of Workplace Health & safety requirements, or ability to acquire same within one month of employment;
- A current driver's licence (or ability to acquire same within 1 month of employment).
