The PLFL is seeking applications for the position of Junior Development Officer (JDO) - Girls for 2026.

Role
To coordinate the implementation and management of the girl's junior programs of the Port Lincoln Football League as determined by the Board.
Responsibilities
The Girl's Junior Development Officer will undertake the following specific functions:
* be an honorary committee member of the Women's Committee
* be the local girl's juniors contact for the Norwood Football Club.
* be responsible for the organisation of local coaching clinics.
* liaise with schools to promote Australian Rules Football in the community.
* assist club coaches with girls junior training sessions at the respective levels.
* submit news regarding junior girl's football to the local news media and/or the Operations Manager
Personal Abilities / Skills / Knowledge
* Have a working knowledge and appreciation of the Port Lincoln Football League Women's rules and regulations
* Proven ability to work with a range of people and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team situation.
* Have a working knowledge of girl's junior football procedures and policies.
* Must have at least a Level 1 Coaching accreditation or be prepared to gain this qualification.
* Must have Working with Children accreditation.
Reports To
* In the first instance, the Operations Manager.
* The Independent Board Member - Operations
* The Independent Board Member - Women
Length of Appointment
This will be a one (1) year appointment which precludes the Women's Juniors Development Officer from being a club delegate on the Women's Committee during this time.
Remuneration
Remuneration to be negotiated.
