Maintenance Procurement Coordinator

. This position is based in Oakey, QLD, within our Main Office, working Monday–Friday. You'll be supporting a skilled maintenance team (Fitters, Turners, Electricians and Boilermakers) to help ensure the smooth operation of a world-class facility.
Responsibilities
Control all purchasing activity for maintenance-related goods and servicing
Monitor, action and escalate stock/parts ordering in alignment with a critical rating system
Work closely with the maintenance crew to understand and deliver part needs
Raise purchase orders and manage accounts-related emails for servicing and CAPEX
Collaborate with a range of suppliers to source parts in a timely and cost-efficient manner
Track ETAs/ETDs and coordinate with the Warehouse team on receivals
Provide high-level purchasing support to maintain stock levels
Experience and Qualifications
Mechanical and/or electrical parts knowledge; experience in inventory control is highly regarded
Proactive, forward-thinking, and able to spot risks early to keep operations running at peak performance
Skilled in managing competing priorities and critical parts requests
Calm under pressure in a fast-paced role with daily deadlines
Confident and technical communicator capable of negotiating with suppliers
Team player committed to supporting operations from the warehouse to production
Open to applicants from mechanical, fitting, turning, electrical or related trades backgrounds; purchasing and tradespersons are encouraged to apply
