The Opportunity

Lead and deliver enterprise‑level Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath, Python, SQL and GitHub. The position is a 12‑month fixed term contract based in Macquarie Park, NSW.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation and functionally to the Program and Project Manager of Digital Innovation and Technology, you will oversee multiple automation projects, mentor developers and drive strategic automation initiatives across business units.


Key responsibilities will include:

* Technical Delivery and BAU Support:
o Design, develop and deploy advanced UiPath workflows from discovery to hypercare.
o Administer UiPath Orchestrator (packages, users, permissions, queues, assets).
o Perform code reviews, manage GitHub actions and defect/enhancement lifecycle.
o Manage BAU support for critical processes, including monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
o Provide post‑production support and continuous improvement for existing automations.
o Integrate RPA solutions merupakan enterprise systems and maintain technical documentation.
* Database and Infrastructure:
o Design andಿಜ manage SQL Server databases, T‑SQL scripts and scheduled jobs.
o Configure Windows Server environments and troubleshoot bot execution issues.
* Innovation and Modernisation:
o Develop Python‑based automation enhancements and evaluate emerging technologies.
o Drive digitalisation initiatives replacing legacy manual processes with intelligent automation.
* Leadership and Management:
o Lead and mentor RPA developers, providing technical guidance and career development.
o Manage multiple automation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
o Facilitate Agile practices including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and stakeholder demos.
o Communicate project status, risks and achievements to senior leadership.
o Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and promote best practices.


About You

You will have 5+ years of RPA experience and a demonstrated ability to manage complex automation programs (3+ years), including BAU support for existing critical automated processes. You will be supported by a tertiary qualification in IT/CS or a related field and have 5+ years of user experience with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, RE Framework), OOP (Java/C#/VB.NET) and GitHub. You will exhibit leadership qualities, an open communication style, and a problem‑solving mindset.


Key skills and experience

* Hands‑on experience creating stored procedures and complex queries using SQL.
* Demonstrated experience in Python or similar technologies.
* Experience in network and UI Path server management.
* Domain experience across multiple domains is highly regarded.
* Strong technical writing for SDD, TDD and process documentation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead complex RPA development projects and collaborate extensively with enterprise teams and business stakeholders.
* UiPath, Agile and Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
