Description:
Senior Manager | CEO/Chair Communications
* Be part of a purpose-driven, collaborative and people focused team
* Learn from the best in the business
* Utilise flexible working arrangements (through the Deloitte Flex) to work in a way that suits you.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager to join the Internal Communications & Experience team! This an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, contribute to major opportunities, and set Deloitte apart in the market.
About The Role
We’re looking for an exceptional communicator to step into a high-impact, high-trust role shaping the voice and narrative of our CEO and Chair. In this role, you will lead and execute internal communications for the CEO and Chair, helping to amplify their voices, engage partners and employees, and support the organisation’s transformation journey. You’ll work closely with the Internal Communications & Experience team to ensure messaging is consistent, authentic, and embedded across the wider communications landscape. You’ll combine deep business understanding with storytelling expertise to elevate leadership communications that are clear, thoughtful, and inspiring.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the internal communications strategy for the CEO and Chair, ensuring it informs, connects, and inspires internal audiences across multiple channels.
* Provide the CEO and Chair with trusted, strategic communications advice, helping to shape their voice and messaging in a way that reflects their authentic leadership style and the needs of our people.
* Write and deliver high-quality, audience-focused content - including executive messages, videos, speeches, and partner and firmwide updates - for a range of formats and channels.
* Collaborate with the Internal Communications & Experience team to embed CEO and Chair messaging into relevant campaigns, initiatives, and key moments across the firm.
* Support and influence the revival and refresh of partner communications, contributing to tone, cadence, and strategic messaging improvements.
* Balance and manage competing, time-sensitive priorities, working calmly and inclusively with multiple stakeholders.
* Maintain strong and trusted relationships with senior leaders, acting as a strategic communications advisor beyond the CEO and Chair.
* Provide honest, constructive feedback and advice - including the confidence to respectfully challenge stakeholder viewpoints to achieve better communication outcomes.
You’ll bring
* Proven experience in executive or internal communications, ideally in large or complex organisations.
* A deep understanding of how to shape and deliver authentic leadership communications that align with business priorities and culture.
* Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across channels and formats, with a clear grasp of tone, messaging, and audience needs.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* A strategic and proactive mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing demands, and deliver with pace and precision.
* Experience managing executive communications channels (e.g. emails, intranet, videos) and knowing when and how to use each effectively.
* The ability to coach and support team members within the broader communications function.
