Claims Officer Role
This Claims Officer role is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of claims management services.
* Deliver recovery outcomes and meet operational and legislative requirements by providing expert claims management services.
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in administration or claims management is required.
* Strong knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislative requirements for claims management, including PIAWE calculation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidentiality, sensitivity, and judgement when dealing with stakeholders.
* Experience in HR systems, including payroll functions, with ability to interpret industrial awards and leave conditions.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in IT and records management.
* Effective time management and prioritization skills, with ability to manage conflicting demands.
* Evidence of current unrestricted driver's licence and willingness to drive/travel as required.
