About the role
We have an opportunity for 4 Senior ICT Business Analysts to be part of our Project Management Office (PMO), Technology and Communication Services Command. The Senior ICT Business Analyst works with relevant stakeholders to understand business needs; capture, analyse and document requirements; and support the delivery of ICT solutions that meet business needs.
Join the PMO team at NSW Police Force as a Senior ICT Business Analyst and play a key role in delivering technology solutions that enable critical policing and corporate operations. We are recruiting four senior roles across a diverse portfolio of programs, including critical network and infrastructure, cyber security, and other major enterprise IT initiatives spanning the organisation.
In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand complex needs, elicit and analyse requirements, and support the delivery of ICT capabilities that drive strategic, operational, and risk-based outcomes. You will contribute across multiple disciplines and programs, bringing flexibility and depth of experience to environments with high operational impact.
You will bring demonstrated high-level business analysis expertise, with significant experience delivering end-to-end analysis across complex, multi-stream programs and projects. Your ability to conduct gap and impact analyses, develop business cases, and translate technical and architectural concepts into clear, plain-language artefacts will be critical to optimising performance and enabling continuous improvement. These roles require strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, ICT governance, and project delivery methodologies. You will support the integration of new and emerging capabilities, particularly within critical infrastructure, cyber security, and core ICT platforms, while ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, standards, and regulatory obligations.
