Courier Delivery Driver
Shift Hours Between: 8:00 – 16:00 Monday – Friday
Remuneration: Road Transport MA000038 – grade 2
Pay Rate: $26.50/Hour base pay as full-time with no experience (Willing to negotiate on experience) + Super and Entitlements
Qualifications Required:
-Manual Car License (Minimum)
-Ability to obtain a clean Australian Federal Police Background Check
-Ability to provide clean driving history
-Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Special Demands: Fit and healthy with ability to carry out daily tasks (lifting up to 23kg safely), basic geographical knowledge of North and West Moreton Bay region (Caboolture, Morayfield, Elimbah, Woodford), able to function in a fast-paced workplace, capable and comfortable to drive vehicles ranging from 1t vans through to 2.5t vans.
Job Duties: As part of the courier team, you will sort, load and deliver freight and parcels of varying size and weight to private address and business customers within specific region using a mobile device that collect signatures and photos. You will be required to follow all safety procedures, including conducting pre-start checks of your vehicle. You will be required to keep your work vehicle washed and tidy inside. You will be required to fill out any necessary paperwork and answer any queries from the admin staff so they can report back to customers.
Skills or traits of a successful applicant: Successful applicant will possess good communication skills, be clean and well presented. Able to work autonomously without constant supervision. A current member to the business does not need prior experience within the transport industry, or to be extremely tech savvy, but must enjoy being outdoors, with a basic level of fitness and health. On the job training will be provided, with support from other staff members where required.
