Employment Details

Employment Type: Permanent/Temporary Full Time or Part Time, up to 38 hours per week.

Location: Liverpool Hospital Mental Health Service.

Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 1/2, Social Work Level 1/2, Registered Nurse, Psychologist.

Remuneration:

  • Occupational Therapist Level 1/2: $35.77 - $51.04 per hour
  • Social Work Level 1/2: $35.77 - $51.04 per hour
  • Registered Nurse: $36.38 - $51.08 per hour
  • Psychologist: $37.69 - $55.17 per hour

About the Opportunity

Being a pool clinician is unique! You will be filling a vacancy in the Liverpool Care Coordination team; as other vacancies arise throughout our service you may be required to transfer into another position and share your skills within our service. Future opportunities may also present at Ingleburn, Campbelltown, Ambarvale, Bankstown, Liverpool, Bowral and Wollondilly based mental health services. The CMH Team are committed to providing a supportive environment where staff are empowered to achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Coordinate consumers' recovery plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and clinical supervision.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities as required.

Where You'll Be Working

The role is located in South Western Sydney, a region that offers convenient public transport, access to beaches and natural parks, and a mix of metropolitan and rural settings.

How to Apply

  • Relevant qualifications: Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker qualified with AHPRA/AASW. CSU Graduates: Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health).
  • State current Australian residency status. If on a temporary visa, specify its conditions and expiry.
  • Demonstrate teamwork: Provide an example of working as part of a team to solve a problem, outlining communication skills and measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Possess an Australian C-Class driver's licence (including P1 or P2). Licences from other states must be converted to NSW C-Class within three months of appointment. Learner licences are not permitted.
