**Service Desk Analyst**
Client - Federal Government client
Location - Parramatta and Penrith (rostered across both offices)
APS5, hourly rate contract
Contract Role - 6 months with possible extensions
**About the role**
- At least 2 years of ICT Tier 1 support experience and substantial experience in using
- and supporting the **Microsoft Office** suite of software and Apple mobile devices
- Experience within **ITIL framework** is good
- Previous use of an **IT Helpdesk system** similar to Microsoft Service Manager
- Experience working in **Government or providing services to a Government Agency** and knowledge and experience in MS Teams would be beneficial
- Proven ability to work through, and progress, work issues with limited direction
- Be flexible and adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Good understanding of computing hardware and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and accurately
- The suitable applicant will also be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance conducted by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). To be eligible to obtain a security clearance (**Baseline, Negative Vet 1 or Negative Vet 2**) applicants must **be an Australian Citizen**.
- ** ITIL v3 Foundations Certificate** would be well regarded.
