Job Overview
The Sales and Product Development Professional will play a key role in driving sales of automated sample storage products and services, while providing technical pre-sales, post-sales, and application support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sell and represent automated sample storage solutions to customers within assigned regions
* Meet and exceed annual sales targets through effective lead generation and management
* Provide expert technical support, including customer presentations, product demonstrations, site surveys, and tender submissions
* Deliver exceptional post-sales support, ensuring seamless delivery and coordination with customers and the technical team for installation and commissioning
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers at all organizational levels
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue growth, improve market presence, and enhance overall business performance
* Participate in product shows, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and webinars to promote company offerings
* Contribute to product development and improvement initiatives, leveraging customer feedback and market insights
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A high level of motivation, organization, and goal-oriented approach
* Proven success in sales (capital projects preferred) and technical product/application support
* Experience working in field and corporate settings, with ability to train non-technical personnel on complex material
* Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Technical understanding of automation hardware and software, including Microsoft Office
* Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Life Sciences discipline preferred
* Minimum of four (4) years of experience in life sciences, automation, or laboratory equipment sales required; six (6) years preferred
* Experience with CRM systems preferred
