Job Description:
The role of a Design and Technologies teacher is crucial in fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students. This position requires an enthusiastic and passionate educator with the ability to provide quality teaching in the Design and Technologies curriculum area.
The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lessons that cater to the needs of students with diverse learning abilities. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and students alike.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Eligible teacher qualification and registration
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights
* Ability to teach across both wood and metal contexts, particularly at Senior School level
* Knowledge of instructional strategies to effectively engage students in the learning process
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
