We are currently searching for a full time store manager at our new Mackay store, opening November 2024. The role purpose of a store manager is to oversee all aspects of store operations, drive sales and profitability, ensure excellent customer service, and create a positive and efficient work environment for the store team. Our store trades 7 days a week so you must be available to work every third weekend on a rotating roster.
Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 8:35am - 5:10pm
- Saturday: 8:40am - 2:10pm
- Sunday: 9:35am - 1:10pm
(Every third weekend)

As a store manager you will be responsible and overseeing the following areas:
- Staff performance
- Inventory management
- Visual merchandising and store presentation
- Managing the store's budget, expenses and profitability
- Providing regular reports and analysis on store performance, including sales trends, customer feedback, and operational metrics
- A willingness to learn
- A dedication to accuracy
- Experience in a managerial role
- Minimum of 5 years of retail experience
- Ability to work well within a team and alone
- Demonstrates expertise in sales techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
- Possesses strong leadership qualities essential for guiding, coaching, and fostering staff development
- Ability to address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Experience in overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and higher management
