The Senior Practitioner (Domestic and Family Violence) provides advanced, trauma-informed casework and a degree of informal practice support to colleagues within RAATSIC's DFV programs, operating across both shelter and outreach service contexts. Sitting beneath the Specialist DFV Worker and reporting to program management, the Senior Practitioner holds a complex caseload of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, children, and families impacted by domestic and family violence, bringing a higher level of clinical reasoning, risk assessment capability, and DFV sector knowledge to their practice.

o Demonstrated capacity to conduct comprehensive DFV risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis response across both shelter and community outreach contexts

o Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage a complex and active caseload across multiple service contexts while maintaining accurate documentation
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-quality case noting, safety planning documentation, and effective engagement with families, colleagues, and external stakeholders
o Capacity to work with a degree of autonomy while operating collaboratively within a team and under the direction of the Specialist DFV Worker and program management
o Commitment to professional development, reflective practice, and continuous improvement in DFV service delivery

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Human Services or a related field.
