As a key member of the Country Sales Team, the BDM will proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, foster strong relationships with clients, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior management within Doka Australia.This position will suit a professional with experience in project management to play a vital role in managing large-scale civil and large-scale projects.This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the industry landscape, capable of delivering innovative solutions that align with the company’s objectives.Build and maintain strong and profitable relationships with clients and key decision makersPrepare and present proposals to clients to meet their requirements and offer solutionsExtend the client portfolio to grow the market share in their relevant state or territory within the civil and LSP space.Overseeing and supporting the project lifecycle, from inception to handover, ensuring timely delivery across all areas and maintaining the highest standards of quality.Maintain a high level of knowledge of all Doka products, key customers, and relevant stakeholdersAchieve sales targets as defined by Sales Management using outstanding presentation and negotiation skills to successfully close dealsPrepare expressions of interests, tender submissions, and other marketing-related material.Manage projects in a co-operative style with key stakeholders within the business and also external stakeholders relevant to the projectManage the handover process for successful tendersBe the first point of contact for the clients during all stages of the project and support any project-related work including processing, discounting, rental rates, and claimsPromote and cross-sell our range of products and services to new and existing customersUpdate and maintain customer records and enquiry status in our in-house systems (CRM Management and forecasting)Take ownership of responsibilities and manage projects collaboratively with team members, including operations, engineering, and other stakeholders, across all stages of the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and successfully achieve target results.Formal training in business or equivalent is desirableHave a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a BDM role in a similar construction sectorProven and solid practical sales and professional customer management experience in the industry, ideally in system formwork.Experience within the civil and LSP space will be highly regardedWorking knowledge and experience of the formwork and construction industry including technical understandingHave a proven/tangible track of securing new tender opportunities on projects in the non-residential construction sector.Proven experience in a range of effective sales techniquesBe driven, highly energetic, and passionate about the construction industrySolve problems effectively and independentlyBe self-motivated and solution-orientedWork ethically and in accordance with compliance policies and proceduresMaintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including operation and management teamsHave a well-established network of clients/relationships in the sectorOutstanding communication and negotiation skills in EnglishSkilled user of Microsoft Office and standard IT ProgramsCurrent Driver’s LicenseIf this is you, wait no more!
