About the role
This is a casual position offering two evening shifts per week, with the opportunity for additional hours depending on occupancy. Our reception operates 24/7, so flexibility is essential.
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience from arrival to departure while embracing our commitment to the natural environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a warm welcome to guests, managing check-in and check-out efficiently
* Handle guest and agent enquiries, including but not limited to tours, transfers and special requests via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
* Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure an exceptional guest stay
* Work closely with the porter on shift and other reception staff, while also being confident working independently
* Process payments and perform cashiering duties accurately
* Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all tasks
About You
* Available to work flexible hours which can include weekend, evening and public holiday shifts
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment
* Competent computer skills, with experience using Property Management Systems (PMS) preferred
* Have a genuine love for nature, wildlife, and sustainable practices
* Holds a valid driver's licence
