Hey, I'm Dylan, Founder here at Updoc.
I've been building tech and operations for over a decade, and there's nothing quite like working on something that genuinely improves people's lives. Almost everyone has a story, their own or from friends and family, about how broken and overburdened the Australian healthcare system can be. At Updoc, we're fixing that.
This isn't a traditional healthcare role. We're scrappy, curious, and data-driven. Our team comes from companies like Canva, Uber, and Amazon. There's zero ego here, just strong opinions, held lightly, and a deep respect for craft. We're profitable, growing fast, and backed by one of Australia's leading growth investors, Bailador.
About the Role
As Updoc's in-house Graphic Designer, you'll be the visual engine behind our growth, supporting and driving the creative execution that introduces the world to our brand. You will work closely with Marketing and Product to ensure that every external touchpoint - from a relevant TikTok hook to a physical flyer - stops the scroll and compels action.
You'll own the graphic end-to-end execution of our creative channels, shaping how potential users discover and engage with us. This is a role that demands both velocity and versatility: you'll design high-impact assets across the entire funnel (Social, OOH, Print, Website), build the systems and templates that allow us to scale, and stay close to the data that tells us what works. You understand that great design isn't just about aesthetics; it's about clarity, psychology, and performance.
You'll be the kind of creative who thrives at the intersection of art and analytics. You lead by making: in the Adobe Suite, Figma, Canva, or other relevant tools; in your A/B test results; and in the rapid iteration of ideas. You set the benchmark for speed and precision, demonstrating that "brand-safe" and "high-converting" can coexist elegantly. You don't just follow trends; you adapt them to fit our narrative instantly.
You'll collaborate deeply with the growth team to turn raw data into visual experiments, translating performance feedback into scroll-stopping creative, and ensure every design decision drives measurable impact without compromising the quality of our brand. Most of all, you'll have fun doing it, and every creative you ship will help more Australians access healthcare quickly, affordably, and conveniently.
What You'll Be Doing
* Designing high-impact digital and non-digital assets across LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Instagram, TikTok (static, motion, short-form video), flyers, print media, and OOH.
* Managing multiple briefs simultaneously, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Owning creative execution across the funnel: hooks, scroll-stopping visuals, messaging, and CTAs.
* Rapidly iterating on ad concepts based on performance feedback
* Collaborating closely with Marketing & Product to align assets with brand, landing pages and user intent.
* Building and maintaining a repeatable creative system: templates, formats, visual patterns, and brand-safe experimentation.
* Generating creative A/B test variations at scale (creative, copy, messaging).
* Staying across platform trends and adapting formats quickly.
* Reviewing and refining creative to ensure consistent high-quality, brand-aligned outputs across all campaigns
About you

* You're comfortable designing for motion, vertical formats, and platform-native styles.
* You think in hypotheses and experiments, not just concepts.
* You can balance brand consistency with aggressive performance testing.
* Professional experience as a graphic designer, or a strong portfolio showing real-world results.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
