Job Description
The Endpoint Device Lead is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of UniSQ endpoint devices from a software perspective, ensuring optimal performance, security and sustainability.
You will work closely with the Proactive Services Manager and Asset Management Lead to coordinate the efforts of a small team of specialists who will focus on proactive service delivery across all ICT systems and processes.
Your initial key priorities will include:
1. Working with current ICT team members to evaluate and optimise a future SOE for UniSQ, including Windows 11 and Mac operating systems.
2. Identifying avenues for improvement with management and deployment of UniSQ Computer Labs, focusing on optimisation, utilisation and metrics to inform future decisions.
3. Taking a lead role in evaluating the RDP Lab and Turbo virtual lab solutions, focusing on resilience, reporting and maximising utilisation for our staff and student cohort.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in the provision of hardware and software support services in a large organisation.
* Relevant computing qualification.
* Expertise with deployment tools such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Jamf, and PowerShell.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, manage projects, and implement process improvements.
