Joining us, you'll provide a meaningful contribution to an inspiring recent vision focused on building a thriving and resilient Byron Shire community. The Byron CoLab on Arakwal Country is a for-purpose centre in the heart of Byron Bay that connects people to their greatest potential and supports them to thrive.

Through this role, you will help deepen local access to a range of community services, including health, education, advocacy as well as facilitate collaboration with aligned social impact businesses. Your warm, authentic, and excellent service will elevate people's day as you welcome them to the centre. With a keen eye for the little details, you will take pride in assisting tenants and visitors with their requirements and ensuring the facilities are well kept.

This role is a great opportunity to put your polished customer service skills to use in an innovative, socially purpose driven environment. This role is permanent part-time, working 3 days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, plus a third day of your choice). Here's how it will help transform your career:

- Previous experience in a customer service role in a service organisation, with experience working with a diverse community including people who may present in distress
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people from a diverse range of backgrounds, and provide relevant and accurate information in a way that is understood and actionable.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and prioritise issues, problem solve, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome
- Demonstrated ability to use technology to effectively undertake a wide range of administrative functions
- High level ability to multitask across different systems including the Microsoft Office suite and various Customer Relationship Management systems
