In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Human Resources function for the hotel. This is a hands on role where you will work closely with operational leaders to align the colleague experience with Hyatt’s purpose of caring for people so they can be their best. You will also drive a culture that champions Hyatt’s Leadership expectations and values, prioritizing wellbeing, experimentation and inclusion.Key ResponsibilitiesActively partner with leaders to provide coaching & support in line with the needs of the businessFortnightly payroll processing and reporting in conjunction with the payroll team ensuring compliance and legislative requirements are achieved.Implement an effective talent acquisition & recruitment strategy that is aligned with Hyatt’s Employee Value PropositionDevelop and implement an effective learning & development plan fostering a culture of continuous improvement & growthDrive engagement activities including regular activations and management of the Colleague Experience Survey at touch points through the yearPartnering with the Engineering Manager, drive hotel workplace health & safety and be the champion of our yearly external WHS Audit, along with our Sustainability Certification, EarthCheck.Ensure the hotel is up to date and compliant with all relevant employment, safety and injury legislationManage any grievances and performance management effectively and in accordance with procedural fairnessQualifications/ExperienceQualification in Human Resources, Hospitality or BusinessExperience in industrial relations, employee relations, occupational health & safety and workers compensation is a mustPrevious experience in a similar role in a hotel environment would be highly advantageousExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with easeStrong training and coaching skillsWhy work with Hyatt?BenefitsAt Hyatt Regency Brisbane, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
