Overview
Boilermaker/Welder (relocation assistance to Adelaide). BAE Systems is recruiting Boilermakers and Welders to relocate to Adelaide. Interviews will be held in Sydney as part of the recruitment process. Successful candidates will be offered a $13,100 relocation allowance to assist with your move to Adelaide. Work Life Balance – every second Friday off. You would join the Production Team based in Osborne, SA, building the most advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate in the world.
Responsibilities
* Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production supervision and/or trades trainer within bounds of current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
Qualifications
* Experience fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time-keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication.
Clearances
