We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Youth Access Team. The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing clinical and administrative support to General Practitioners and private allied health providers.

About the Role:

* The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting youth assessments, triage, and referrals as a core member of the Youth Access Team.
">
* They will serve as a liaison between the GP team and YAT, ensuring coordinated, integrated care.
">
* They will deliver youth-centred primary health services within their nursing scope of practice under GP supervision.
">
* They will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to improve physical health outcomes for young people.
">

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide clinical and administrative support to GPs and private allied health providers at headspace clinics.
">
2. Conduct youth assessments, triage, and referrals as a core member of the Youth Access Team.
">
3. Serve as a liaison between the GP team and YAT, ensuring coordinated, integrated care.

4. Deliver youth-centred primary health services within your nursing scope of practice under GP supervision.

Requirements:
">
The successful applicant will require:
">
">
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
">
* Experience working with young people plus demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to the mental health needs of young people (12 – 25 years) and their families.
">
* Experience working alongside General Practitioners in a primary care or community health setting.
">
* Demonstrated experience working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team of health professionals.
">
* Initiative and ability to manage workload effectively while maintaining a high standard of care.
