Job Overview
The Western NSW Primary Health Network is seeking a motivated individual to serve as a Project Officer for Multidisciplinary Teams. The role focuses on guiding and facilitating effective engagement with the allied health sector across the western NSW PHN region to strengthen multidisciplinary team-based care in primary health settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables.
* Facilitate engagement and partnership development with allied health professionals, General Practices and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.
* Advocate for evidence-based practices and support implementation of the National PHN frameworks.
* Provide education and training to allied health sector stakeholders on primary care integration.
* Track project outcomes, produce reports, and communicate findings to senior management and partner organisations.
* Coordinate with health services to promote digital health solutions and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Experience or knowledge of primary care settings.
* Excellent interpersonal, written communication skills.
* Experience in project management and creating/managing project timelines.
* Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal culture and commitment to cultural awareness and safety.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency with information communication technology.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Capacity to travel within western NSW and hold a current driver's licence.
