We are looking for a Guest Experience Host with a genuine love of wine and a talent for creating memorable experiences. Attentive, resourceful, and hands-on, you will welcome guests, assist with dining and wine service, and ensure the lodge, rooms, and wellness suite always reflect the highest standards.
Le Mas is a small, luxury lodge in a renowned wine region and part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. With just four beautifully appointed rooms, a wellness suite, and occasional weddings or private events, every day offers the opportunity to deliver highly personalised and unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests on arrival, assist with check-in, and escort them to their rooms
* Host guests throughout their stay, providing tailored recommendations and personalised service
* Prepare and serve light F&B, including cheese and charcuterie platters, drinks, and simple dining service
* Maintain presentation and upkeep of guest rooms, the wellness suite, and public areas, including turn-down service
* Manage guest reservations and internal notes in the PMS system
* Plan and manage guest itineraries, including wine, culinary, and local experiences
* Support service and presentation for occasional weddings and private events
* Assist with beverage stock management and cellar organisation
About You
* Warm, professional, and naturally welcoming
* Flexible and happy to contribute across multiple areas of the lodge
* Highly organised and proactive, able to plan and manage guest itineraries and experiences
* Attentive to detail with a strong sense of presentation and quality
* WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine knowledge preferred
* French-speaking is an advantage
