Blue Eyes is on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our team and drive the day-to-day operations of one of Canberra's favourite late-night venues. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced bar environment and knows how to balance great service with strong business performance.

About the role:
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of venue operations, ensuring smooth service, motivated staff and an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, train and manage a team of bartenders, supervisors, and casual staff
* Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Manage rosters, staffing levels and payroll within budget
* Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS and licensing regulations
* Monitor stock levels, place orders and control costs
* Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Drive venue performance through coordination and implementation of promotions, events and other revenue driving activities
* Lead and manage all special promotions and events which occur periodically on days outside the regular core trading hours (festivals, New Years Eve, engagement parties, special trade events etc)
* Oversee weekly performer bookings, social media campaigns, EDM distribution and strategic advertising execution.
About You
* Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Bar Manager or similar leadership role
* Strong knowledge of bar operations, cocktails and service standards
* Confident leader with excellent communication and people-management skills
* Ability to work late nights, weekends and peak trading periods, with awareness and commitment to key hospitality trading periods and overseeing all functions and events.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Current RSA and relevant certifications
