**The Role**
We have an exciting and highly rewarding prospect for an experienced hospital administrator to join us. **Part-time** **position available.**
At the heart of the department, the Administration staff play a crucial role. As the initial point of contact for patients and families, you will not only facilitate essential paperwork for admission, pre-admissions, and billing but also set the tone for a welcoming and supportive experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a professional, efficient, and customer-focused service across our **ICU and Renal** departments, with a key focus on administration and supporting patient comfort.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the ward.
- Providing general PSA assistance around the ward.
- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
- Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.
- Supporting patient comfort.
- Tea & coffee services.
- Chair setup for patients and chair & equipment cleaning.
- Assist with re stock & stores.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and enjoys being part of a busy ward. Your ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of admissions and discharges is a key skill needed for this role.
- You will also demonstrate: _
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Experience either in a medical administration setting or a patient-facing role.
- Experience with Patient Management Systems will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in and communication with a multidisciplinary team.
**Desirable**:
- Certificate in Medical Terminology.
- Experience in hospital mainframes systems.
