Disability Care Professional
We are seeking an experienced disability care professional to support individuals with varying needs.
Your role will involve assisting participants in daily activities, providing companionship, and promoting independence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting clients with high care needs, including those requiring assistance with daily living tasks
* Providing emotional support and companionship to clients in their homes or during community outings
* Assisting clients with medical appointments and other scheduled activities
* Maintaining accurate records of client progress and care plans
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate III in Disability or higher (or equivalent experience)
* Experience working with vulnerable populations, including those with complex needs
* A current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification
* A full and clean Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
