This neurology practice has been providing a comprehensive clinical neurology and neurophysiology service in Southern Sydney since 1996 with a long history of providing excellent care to patient driven by a strong culture. They are now looking for a Digital Community Manager to join their team as a permanent part-time member. Once a fortnight, you’ll be invited to join team member meetings in their clinic based in Southern Sydney to have your say on team matters as well as stay in close contact with your team.

They pride themselves on their excellence and professionalism in delivering patient care, which can only be achieved through their excellent members of staff. Having a solid track record in clinical research and strive to improve the experience of patients involved in clinical trials and the quality of their lives. They invite anyone who is passionate about caring for their local Sydney community and looking to take their career to the next level to apply.

About the Role

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the management of patient community engagement. With over 90% of care happening in the home, not in the healthcare facility you will be using digital channels to extend excellence in clinical care to people in their daily life. Building a passionate and engaged community providing support along the patient journey and boost brand awareness. You will manage the social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that grow followers, engage and retain them though your creativity and experienced in social media.
- Responsible for building, growing and managing the community online and engaging with patients through social media
- Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
- Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media
- Respond to customers in a timely manner
- Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
- Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness
- Stay up-to-date with neurological research and related topics
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms
- Ongoing development of patient education resources
- Collect and implement ideas and feedback

What You Need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse or Clinical Experience
- Experience in complex chronic health conditions, patient education, virtual consultations, pharma patient support programs
- Understanding of health assessments, chronic diseases, prevention principles and health promotion
- Hands on experience with social media management for brands
- Work under the direction of the doctors and practice manager
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills so you and your team can work collaboratively with each other as well as with patients
- Knowledge of online marketing
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy
