Qualified Greenskeeper - Fly In Fly Out Cairns or Darwin
Key duties
Your role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Prepare and maintain golf course and associated grounds.
2. Ensure the safe and correct operation of all machinery, equipment, and work competently without direct supervision.
3. Ensure machinery and associated equipment are cleaned, serviced, and maintained as per maintenance checklists.
4. Be confident in operating golf course machinery.
5. You may be asked to work in other areas of the ESS camp, so flexibility and willingness to learn are required.
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate the following:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Greenkeeping, Agriculture, or Horticulture. Sports Turf Management Certificate - ESSENTIAL.
* Extensive background in maintenance of Recreational Turf, Irrigation, Pest and Disease Control experience.
* AQF3 Chemical Accreditation Ticket.
* Competent in operating golf course machinery.
* A clear and precise understanding of Workplace Health and Safety.
* Open Drivers Licence (Manual) is mandatory.
* Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
* Great problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills.
